In October 2014 Tom Bucknall successfully completed his NVQ Business Administration Level 2 course.
The 12-month course resulted in Tom gaining an understanding of office administration, processes and procedures as well as giving two presentations on various aspects of the Steel industry to our Senior Management team.
“The course has helped me make the transition from having done no office work to being part of a successful Sales Team” says Tom. “I was surprised at the amount of information there is in relation to government guidelines and procedures, but this information and the skills I have learnt have certainly helped me settle in at C&S Steels.”
Bill Ware comments “During the past 12-months I have watched Tom develop into a confident and capable individual. Tom continues to progress, and has been given additional responsibilities for administering complex processes within our Business System. Tom’s presentations have also formed the basis for a new project on product development.
To sum up, a very positive apprenticeship experience for C&S Steels resulting in a capable and valued member of staff. Well done Tom!”
