Our Production Team mark our 50th Anniversary
C & S Steels (Wolverhampton) Ltd recently featured in the Express and Star’s edition of ‘The Manufacturer’ on 17th June, with staff gathering together at our premises to mark the firms first 50 years of business.
With a long-standing and experienced workforce of over 65 members, who between them have in excess of 830 years of service, C & S Steels are looking forward to the future.
“I could not be more proud of reaching this milestone as a company” said Jonathan Cook, Managing Director and third generation of the family-run business. “There have been many changes both within the industry as well as the company throughout the last 50 years, which hark back to the days when manufacturing was a key element in this country’s output. We are proud to be one of the few remaining bright drawers in the UK.”
C & S Steels credit three things for the business’ success; great service, quality products and the valued relationship between our customers, suppliers and staff. With an honest and no-nonsense approach, we have grown to become one of the main players in the industry.
As a manufacturer, we are able to produce specific sizes, lengths and sections to meet exact requirements. Our policy is to carry stock of Bright Drawn and Bright Turned steels available for immediate delivery. In addition we offer low minimum order quantities so you can order what you actually need, and we pride ourselves in understanding your exact individual requirements and delivering on them.

C & S Steels (Wolverhampton) Ltd continue to celebrate our 50th Anniversary by attending this years Subcon event at the NEC, Birmingham for a second year running. Subcon is the UK’s dedicated advanced manufacturing exhibition showcasing the British Manufacturing Industry. With Jaz Kaur and Scott Lowe from our Sales team, along with our Commercial Manager Bill Ware on hand to welcome visitors, the event has been a success!
After an initial lull on the first day, we enjoyed a busy and encouraging event as new customers came to visit and discuss opportunities with the C & S Steels team. It was also nice to see some of our existing customers who paid a visit to our stand.
Focusing on our 50th year in business, a short film was on display showing the “then and now” of the company, and how things have changed in the industry. We are proud to be one of the few remaining bright drawers in the UK.

The company is proud to be one of the few remaining bright drawers in the UK & this has been achieved through the support of its customers & suppliers & not least that of its current staff who, at the latest count, have amassed over 830 years of service.
Having reached this milestone C & S will continue its efforts to the ongoing development of its product range & service & looks forward to being part of what we believe is the beginning of a resurgence in Britain’s manufacturing industry.
